Elisabetta Canalis is from Sardinia, is known by Italians as ‘Eli’ or ‘La Canalis’, used to date Christian Vieri, has two tattoos on each arm and likes to kickbox. You might have seen her micro roles in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and Virgin Territory. She became a big formaggi in her homeland on news comedy show Striscia La Notizia as something called the ‘Veline’ – the kind of genius gratuitous dolly bird that only Italians can turn into an art form.
