The Subaru Rally Team USA prepares for the X Games 16 Rally Car and SuperRally Car Racing events at Pala Raceway.
We headed out to Pala Raceway to catch a glimpse of Subaru Rally Team USA drivers Travis Pastrana and Dave Mirra hitting their practice grounds. Practice grounds for what, you say? Practice grounds for the X Games 16 in Los Angeles, CA. The Summer X Games events will begin tomorrow morning and run well into Sunday evening. The Rally Car and SuperRally races will take place on Saturday, July 31st. And you’ll get a dose of Moto every day except Saturday, which will be fulfilled with some hot races by the caged-rally machines. Make sure to come out and cheer on the boys of Rally and Moto as they take on the legendary X Games competitions.

Travis Pastrana
The 2010 Subaru Rally Team went out to Pala Raceway in Pala, CA to do one last practice run before their competition day at X Games 16. Travis Pastrana and Dave Mirra were both on hand to show off their rally machines in a private event on Wednesday, July 28. For the occasion, Pala Raceway had constructed a special course for the team with the inclusion of a few sweepers and a large jump. Travis Pastrana gave some lucky attendees a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be co-driver in his own X Games STI.
