Meet the demon hunter, the final class revealed for Blizzard’s action role-playing game Diablo III. The developer introduced the new character type during Blizzcon over the weekend. “While the demon hunter primarily uses traditional ranged weaponry such as bows, crossbows, or even dual-wielded one-handed crossbows, the class is also incredibly proficient with gadgetry, traps, and deadly grenades,” says Blizzard in a Blizzcon Q&A. The demon hunter joins character classes barbarian, wizard, monk and witch doctor. Blizzard has not announced a release date for the game, which will be available on PCs and Macs.
Electronic Arts and studio Criterion have rolled out a fresh trailer — courtesy of GameTrailers — for racing title Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. The video focuses on the Interceptor vehicle cops will use to chase down street racers. The game hits stores next month.
BlizzCon just got a lot more awesome – Paul Sams announced during the closing ceremonies that one thousand of the attendees will be randomly selected to be given Diablo III beta keys!
He built it up amusingly, saying, “I have three special words you’re all dying to hear.” Fans shouted out, “I love you!” “For the Horde!” and other such suggestions, before Paul finally went with, “Free Beta Keys!”
No further details were given however we assume the ticket buyer will be notified when the time comes. Those keys are going to be golden when the time comes
