Winter knocks on our doors, so skin problems will come along as well. No one likes dry skin, but many of us fail to avoid it during the cold winter months. The main culprit behind dry skin is the change in weather, and other reasons are such as excessive use of toner, room heater, chemical soap, and blow, etc. However, there is nothing to worry about as it just keeps changing, the following simple home remedies will help you to get rid of dry skin problems:

Glycerine

The humectant and emollient present in glycerin offers wonders for moisturizing your skin, no doubt Glycerin may seem tacky. you just need 1 teaspoon of glycerin. Apply to dry patches or the entire area, leave it on for a few hours and then wash it off. to avoid dry patches repeat at least once daily.

Everyone knows about aloe vera but you know the wonders of what it can do. It has anti-inflammatory properties and it improves collagen and elastin levels. All you need is a fresh aloe vera leaf to gel it. Apply a scoop of gel to your face at night and leave it on overnight. Repeat every night to see good results.

Cinnamon and Honey Face Mask

Cinnamon extracts dirt and improves capillary circulation while Honey moisturizes your skin. you just need ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder + 2 tablespoons of Honey. Mix them and apply it to your face. Keep this simple mask for 15-20 minutes, and then remove it with a gentle massage. Repeat this every 4-5 days to see good results.

Milk Powder Face Pack 

Milk contains healthy fats and amino acids and it acts as a good moisturizer. Take 2 teaspoons of milk powder  + 1 teaspoon of honey + a pinch of turmeric powder and some water.  Mix it all up and make a well-textured paste to apply to your dry skin. Let it dry naturally and rinse later. to treat dry skin patches, repeat this procedure at least twice a week. 

Coconut Oil Massage

Coconut oil is the best source for your skin to replenish lost fatty acids. you just need is 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil + 5 minutes.  At night, wash your face thoroughly and massage with oil for 5 minutes, leaving it overnight. Coconut oil will be absorbed into your skin and make your skin texture smooth and healthy.
