Now, based on those votes from January through to December, we bring you the hot monthly favourites — and it may interest you to know that a couple of international names also figure high up in the popularity stakes, having featured on desi glossies this year.

Chitrangada dazzled in a sheer dress for FHM‘s January edition and 26 per cent of readers’ votes took her straight to the top of the poll.
Lady Gaga
In February, Lady Gaga topped with a staggering 80 per cent liking her artsy Elle cover.
Sunny Leone
Sunny, who came second in February with her seductive posing on the front of India Today was not a patch on Gaga — she got only three per cent.
Bipasha Basu
Bips’ sizzling see-through mini for Man’s World scored 33 per cent in April.
Tena Desae
Hot on the Bong bombshell’s heels with 21 per cent was Tena Desae in a one-piece swimsuit for The Man.
Sunny Leone
Sunny puts in another appearance with her FHM cover getting 59 per cent of readers’ votes in May.
Chitrangada Singh
Chitrangada’s Vogue appearance took second spot in May, but with only 13 per cent of the votes.
Deepika Padukone
Dippy’s Vogue cover in June was certainly one of the more popular ones — the sight of her in a cut-away swimsuit met with the approval of 25 per cent of readers.
Soha Ali Khan
Soha lost out to Deepika by a hair’s breadth in June — her sultry workout gear on FHM received 24 per cent.
Neha Dhupia
Neha topped the month of July with Maxim, pulling up her tank to reveal a killer bod. Forty five per cent of respondents voted for her.
Katrina Kaif
Kat was runner-up, with 22 per cent voting for her FHM cover in a tasseled lace cocktail.
Shriya Saran
In August, sensual Shriya took the crown with 36 per cent in the poll appreciating her Maxim appearance.
Anushka Sharma
In second place with 31 per cent was Anushka, revealing her amazing curves on FHM.
Huma Qureshi
A staggering 60 per cent of readers loved Huma’s bold pose for FHM in September.
Lisa Haydon
In contrast, Lisa received only 13 per cent for Women’s Health, but came in second nevertheless.
Mahie Gill
Mahie’s see-through tee on Maxim in October ensured she received the highest number of votes — 26 per cent.
Katrina Kaif
With 18 per cent in October, Kat came in second with her lovely Vogue styling. However, she wasn’t alone…
Kelly Brook
UK glamour model Kelly shared second spot with Katrina thanks to her lingerie-clad avatar on FHM, also bagging 18 per cent.
Lisa Haydon
Lisa struck gold in November, taking 44 per cent with her swimwear stint for Maxim.
Deepika Padukone
Deepika was runner-up this time, with 16 per cent voting her the sexiest on FHM, dressed in a sheer black lace crop top.
Aditi Rao Hydari
And finally, we come to this month’s winners. Aditi’s voluptuous curves were highlighted on FHM and she received 37 per cent of the votes.
Bipasha Basu
Bipasha held her own with 26 per cent loving her sensual corset-clad appearance for Maxim.
